Peter, an ex software engineer created a software company called CaterBook and moved to Totnes with partner artist, Bev Knowlden in 2005. The love of the town and area has never waned but as CaterBook became bigger and (to everyone's surprise) successful, the pressures of keeping up with new technologies, client service, marketing and keeping the books etc became too much and it was time to sell the business on.

Since then he has struggled to find purpose but endeavours to be a "musician" and having that term on the tax return is still a thrill. 

Peter runs The Totnes Pulse which was originated by Mark El-Khadi as an online community magazine with a strong emphasis on promoting all the events and what's on in the area.

They fully hope, when this crap pandemic is done with, to get the magazine into print and turned into a monthly arts based publication for all to enjoy.
